Dave and I have had a fantastic afternoon at the Tech South West’s AI South West Live event in Taunton.
The sold-out event was attended by around a hundred of the region’s AI founders, innovators, educators and technologists- meaning that conversations were incredibly interesting and presentations varied and insightful.
It was great to see the excitement and buzz from attendees towards the possibilities of AI in the future, but with the huge caveat that many are also slightly terrified – proceed with caution and understanding was the clear takeaway of the event!
Our presentation on how to practically approach adopting AI into the workforce was met with a lot of interest, with many follow-up questions and discussions afterwards about our core message – the importance of remembering “the people”.
As we see so often when working with clients, the initial thoughts and considerations are given to the technology, and not to the staff who are going to be using it!
Already looking forward to the next event in September.
